La Asociación de Críticos de Hollywood (HCA, por sus siglas en inglés) realizó de manera virtual la cuarta entrega de sus premios anuales, nacidos con la intención de apoyar a las voces poco visibles de la industria del cine.

La película Promising Young Woman arrasó con los premios al conseguir las estatuillas a la mejor película, mejor actriz (para Carey Mullingan), mejor guion original, mejor ópera prima y mejor directora emergente (para Emerald Fennell).
